If I didn't need it so much for other things, I'd send you mine. 8)

Andy - sorry I haven't gotten back to you with the debug dump; that's 
because I've been trying to work out why my latest failure mode doesn't 
generate any debugging output.  I just figured it out - the AML is 
disabling the Super-IO chip, so I lose my serial port!

I have no idea what to do about this, short perhaps of getting a docking 
station.  *sigh*
