Matsuda-san, Iwasaki-san,

thanks a lot for your advises.

I succeeded to boot acpi kernel(-current 2001.2.23) by removing
unnecessary device lines from the kernel configuration file.

Followings are the reports.

 - It recongizes the power switch and Lid switch.
 - The sleep mode 5 works and makes the power off.

However,

 - the sleep mode 1 does not make the HDD and Display off,

producing only the following messages,

Feb 26 12:02:28 acpi_lid0: Lid closed
Feb 26 12:02:28 wakeup from sleeping state (slept 00:01:36)
Feb 26 12:02:28 ata0: resetting devices .. done
Feb 26 12:02:28 acpi_lid0: Lid opened
Feb 26 12:02:28 usb0: scheduling overrun

I am willing to submit DSDT data file (to this mail-list?), if it is
useful.

This laptop is attractive, since it has a Crusoe CPU and a
Reflective LCD.

I also attach the "dmesg".
