I want to do a single, massive whitespace sweep at some point to make the 
code all KNF, just because I'm sick of being harrassed about it.  Until 
then, it'd be nice to keep a single style.

BTW, I want to take a look at the battery code, and maybe restructure/
update it a bit.  Is anyone else working on it right now?
