Hi,

What's the relationship between ACPI and laptop cooling fans? I'm
running a recent -CURRENT and have noticed that if I boot up and the
fan is not on -- it will never turn on, or if I boot up and the fan
is on -- it'll always stay on.

In -STABLE and Windows ME, the fan seems to operate as one would
expect; it'll only run when the temperature of the machine exceeds a
    certain value.

The laptop is a Sharp AR50. If acpidump or dmesg is required, I'll
be able to post them tomorrow.

    Regards,

        Trent.
