Dear sir,
my name is Niklas Saers and I'm doing a masters by research on the FreeBSD
project. I was hoping you wouldn't mind me asking a couple of questions
regarding the acpi-part of FreeBSD.

How was the desicion to use the acpi code (whch I understand replaces
apm)? How had the acpi-code to be modified before importing. Is this a
process you have to do every time the acpi-code is updated? Are there many
developers involved in acpi, or is this mainly a thing you are doing by
yourself? If so, how do you think the project community would react should
you no longer be able to maintain the code?

Cheers

   Nik
