Hi Nate thanks for the thorough EC explanation! Should be helpful in
addressing the Linux EC driver's issues. So I'm the first one to try
FreeBSD on a T40? How do T30s work, anyone know?

Regarding the T40 install issues, I tried an Intel Pro/100 Cardbus II
and an older 16-bit Intel EtherExpress Pro/100 Mobile Adapter. Like I
mentioned before, I *should* just be able to use the built in e1000 NIC,
but that wasn't working quite right either. All these seem to work ok
under Linux/Windows.

Regards -- Andy
