Really Manhattan looking restaurant dramatic decor I loved it. The service is beyond what you can imagine they almost know who you are before you tell them the name on the reservation. Daniel the chef walked by all the tables and chatted with us. Only grey spot is our waiter was just 'normal' nice in contrast with everybody else being ridiculously nice. I though the foie gras was excellent but really for me was the lobster barely cooked sous vide with amazing crunches to go with it then the morels. I actually did not like the chocolate desert.... my gf had the milk desert equally disappointing. One thing you need to know is that Daniel the chef is really into the crunches... so every single plate has a crunch to it it could be a chips some fried little things... it's always there. Pretty too. Was this

This was more than the best meal of our lives. This was a journey a play in ma small acts. Some of the dishes impressed some hit a cozy spot some were addictively munchable some were humorous and intellectual and some dishes I didn't much care for. Yet even the dishes that I didn't prefer were captivating in their alienness and complexity. I didn't like the uni with apple snow dish at first but it might be the single mouthful that has most firmly taken hold of my memory.

Unfortunately for drivers, gas prices often go up during the summer, starting around Memorial Day [Source: EPA]. There are many reasons behind the increase in summer fuel prices, and some are fairly logical. More people traveling, especially on family vacations and road trips, increases demand. Also, in the spring months, energy companies conduct maintenance on their refineries, shutting them down and limiting capacity until late May. Because of these disruptions, oil supplies can become stretched. In addition, natural disasters, like hurricanes, can increase prices by disrupting transport routes and damaging refineries and other infrastructure.

Wow. This place is amazing. After visiting Per Se last year rated as the top restaurant in by S. Pellegrino I convinced my family into going to Park the second best in . It has been some time since Per Se but I have to say I think I may like Park more. While Per Se was about amazing innovative food great presentation and perfect service by the staff without seeming too rigid Park brought something a little different. The two were definitely similar but I think EMP brought a little bit of a "performance" to the food more on that later. We opted for the full tasting menu. Each course was delicious and extremely innovative. One of the first amusebouche was a tomato soup. It was a clear light broth but it tasted like the richest thickest tomato soup I've ever had. It looked so unassuming but was bursting with flavor.

One interesting course was a clam bake where a tea pot sat atop some rocks with some type of seaweed lining it. The server poured some water over the hot rocks that quickly steamed up and smelled of a delicious seaweed and the tea pot contained a smooth and creamy clam chowder.
