Huge Press Release- Star Petroleum Corp.: Company Engages Energy
Advisors
On behalf of Star Petroleum Corp. (SPMP) President Rod Burns, P. Eng.,
reports that as part of the Company's ongoing

development interest in a new catalytic cracking technology, the
Company has recently receeived confirmation of successful field tests of the
catalytic cracking unit currently in its latter stages of development.
Catalyst was successfully run through the unit and an on-site field
test was able to produce gasoline as the end product. This represents a
significant
step in the process leading to the commercial availability of the
technology. Ongoing testing in Utah will enable the company to better define
the next stages of development.

Mr. Burns also reports that the Company has added another member to its
management team. Mr. Randy Simpson, C.P.A., PC, of Utah will be joining
the company to provide additional expertise and direction with project
financing. Mr. Simpson has been
involved in the oil and gas business for more than 25 years. His
considerable experience extends to a C.P.A. practice concentrating in
aviation, oil & gas and real estate transactions. More particularly, he has
served as the Controller for Gulf Energy Corporation and the Chief
Financial Officer for Rocky Mountain Helicopters, as well as a number of
other oil and
gas companies. He has additionally provided consulting services to a
wide variety of energy companies including Quinex Energy, Wells
Petroleum, Lomax Exploration, and Altex Oil, among others.

"We are very pleased to have Mr. Simpson join our organization," said
Mr. Burns. "His considerable experience in the energy sector,
particularly as that pertains to finance and financial assessment of
opportunities, is a welcome addition. We look forward to the benefit of Mr.
Simpson's industry knowledge and extensive contact base as this will provide
