Any changes that you make in this live system will carry over into the installed system if you install MiyoLinux. For example, if you install an application while in the live session, that application will be included in the final installation. Any changes that you make in appearance will also carry over into the installed system.

1. Note for Non-English installations

Hopefully, this release will make it easier for users who install MiyoLinux in a language/locale other than English. I have included all locales in this build; however, a user will still need to install the appropriate "task" packages for their language/locale. This can easily be done by opening the Synaptic package manager and searching for...

     task-your-language

For example, if you are installing in German, you would search for...

     task-german

Many of the task packages have more than one package; such as, German offers...

     task-german
     task-german-desktop

You may want to install all of the appropriate packages that are listed for your specific language/local.

2. Live User name and passwords.

	Username - miyo
	Password - miyo
	Root password - miyo

3. Connecting to the internet/installing packages in the Live Session

a) Connecting to the internet

Wired connections should connect automatically. If you need help connecting to a wireless network, here are basic instructions.

1. Open the menu, and go to...
   Preferences > Connman UI Setup
2. When it opens, click the Off button next to Wifi (that will turn on Wifi).
3. Click the Wireless tab.
4. If you have only one network, click the Connect button.
If you have more than one network, click the network that you want to connect to, then
   click the Connect button.
5. Enter your network's Passphrase (password), then click OK.

It should then connect to your network. You can make sure that it's connected by clicking the Status tab, and it should say whether it's connected or not next to the Wifi button that you clicked in step 2.

b) Installing packages in the Live Session

Any packages that you install in the Live Session will be included in the finished installation; however, before any packages can be installed, you may need to open the terminal and run the following commands...

su (password is miyo)

apt-get update

...or, if using the Synaptic Package Manager, click the Reload button before trying to install any packages.

You should then be able to install packages in the Live Session.

4. How to change the Keyboard Layout in the Live Session

If you didn't change the keyboard layout from the Welcome Screen, you can still change it at anytime...

a) Open the menu, and go to...
   Other > Live Keyboard Layout
b) When it opens, scroll through the list to find your desired keyboard layout. Click on your
keyboard layout, and then click OK, and the system will then temporarily adopt your
   layout.
